Vegan Almond Tzatziki

Cool, Creamy, and Incredibly Simple.



Quick Tzatziki with Tamiz Yogurt Drink.


The days are getting warmer, meals are lighter, and we find ourselves craving something cold, fresh, and nourishing.

This tzatziki is just that- a quick, one-bowl wonder that tastes like summer.


It’s made with our Tamiz yogurt drink, enriched with about 10% almonds, smooth, creamy, and loaded with active cultures. While it’s perfect on its own straight from the fridge, it also makes an ideal base for sauces, cold soups, or… tzatziki.




Ingredients:



  • 1½ cups Tamiz yogurt drink

  • ½ small cucumber, diced finely

  • 1 clove garlic, grated

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  • Chopped fresh mint or dill (or both)





Preparation:



Mix all ingredients in a bowl, taste and adjust seasoning.

Chill for 10 minutes before serving.


Serve cold, with charred bread on the side.

You can also drizzle it over hummus, pair with roasted vegetables, or simply eat it by the spoonful.
